Douglas Fir: Sanded, Faxe Universal Lye, Extra White Oil LED cured seal. Specified by Jason Ng architect and project manager. BEFORE This floor was a conversion from a developer's finish on the Douglas Fir. We thought this to be a polyurethane lacquer that had yellowed and become damaged.
3646, Cheyne Gardens. Oak sanded, treated with Wood Lye White and Linea Natural Parquet
Old oak engineered flooring sanded and finished to the invisible brief using Woca Wood Lye and Linea Natural Parquet Trialling work - this floor was a mid brown colour that can be seen surrounding the sample. Tests were to give the choice between Woca Wood Lye and alternative white oils OR Woca Wood Lye and Linea Natural Parquet. The latter is more muted and doesnt have the slight ruddiness that comes with oil or the accentuated grain.
